Running a successful catering company takes a lot of moving parts. It requires everyone to be on the same page; to be passionate about our food, and the services we offer. We are fortunate to be surrounded by a group of such people. Talented, committed and flexible people who pride themselves on consistently high standards and are always striving for improvement.

Winning the TWIA South East Caterer Award, for the second year running, has been wonderful recognition for a brilliant year of growth & learning. So, what have we done this year, and how has it been received?

We developed all-new menus: In January 2019, we launched our Bistro Boards, the perfect blend of relaxed dining and hearty British classics, served family-style to the centre of your tables. They were designed, directly with client feedback in mind, to bridge the gap between our best-selling BBQ Boards and a more traditional three-course dining style.
We also redeveloped our three-course dining menus, expanding our vegetarian and vegan menus and included a few showstoppers like these:

Local Ote farmed slow-cooked roast pork loin
prune and apricot stuffing, cauliflower and broccoli cheese, charred carrot, baked apple Marquis potatoes

And the equally unbelievable:

Milk chocolate torte
dark chocolate and salted caramel cannelloni, burnt Italian meringue, whisky butterscotch

Our chefs are always innovating dynamic new dishes and their creative vision is at the heart of everything we do. A huge thank you to them for another fantastic year.

We stayed consistent:
The Tie the Knot guarantee is that we never over promise and under deliver. Consistency is important to us. It’s difficult for you to see what we’re like at an actual wedding (unless of course, we’ve already catered at a wedding you’ve been at)* so you have to rely on what other people tell you. Our venue clients have faith in us because they know we will deliver, to the highest of our ability, every time!

We guarantee consistency in a few different ways. Firstly, all TTK events are run by a permanent TTK event manager, with the paperwork overseen by our Senior Wedding Coordinator Pippa. This means you are always in the safest, expert hands, from initial tasting to management on your day itself.
Secondly, our menus are designed with our venue’s strengths in mind. This means that they can be delivered in the same impeccable manner, time after time.

Our staff are experienced, friendly and welcoming. Impeccably dressed, and ready to go above and beyond.

We make it personal:
We are not here to be a faceless, unapproachable entity. In fact, one of the best bits of our jobs is getting to know our clients. We would like your day to be the best it can possibly be, and by the time you do get married, we are pretty invested in (let’s be honest) all the details. From the initial tasting, right up to your day, if you have a question about your catering or any aspect of the wedding planning process, we will do our very best to answer it. We’ve had some brilliant feedback this year, from truly wonderful clients and we cannot wait to see what 2020 will bring!
