Whilst the sunshine is hanging around for a little while longer there is definitely a chill in the air in Sussex and it’s got us feeling all Autumnal so here are three ways to take your autumn/winter wedding drinks reception to the next level!

1. Rhubarb G&T’s. These beauties were enjoyed by Lizzie & Callum’s guests at Brookfield Barn earlier this month as part of their beautiful autumnal drink’s reception. The rhubarb, lovingly, picked by Lizzie from their garden earlier in the year and steeped with gin was a fantastic sweet addition and wonderful touch of personality to their post ceremony reception! Making your own cordials and liquors is really easy and an excellent use of any left over summer fruit! You can learn how to do so here https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/rhubarb-gin

2. Spiced apple & prosecco: Warming cinnamon, clove, ginger, the caramel tones of brown super and British apples. Is there anything more autumnal than a mulled prosecco drinks reception? If you make your spiced apple as a syrup you can add it to the bottom of prosecco glasses pre pouring and any left overs are just a guarantee of excellent Christmas parties!

3. Winter Pimms: the lesser known, but equally as delicious counterpart to its summer sister, served warm with fresh winter berries. Perfection!
